Please kindly read through all terms and conditions carefully before making any booking through this website.
All prices are subject to change without notice.
It is important that you enter details of each passenger correctly according to passport or other form of identification. Some suppliers will deny carriage if the passenger’s name different to your booking and may cancel automatically if the passenger’s name is amended. K.O Travel has no responsibility for any loss or damage arising from your incorrect entry.
All travellers departing from Australia must be in possession of a valid passport. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have a valid passport. If your passport is due to expire within six months of your return arrival back in Australia then under normal circumstances you should obtain a new passport. Should you be travelling on anything other than an Australian Passport then it is your responsibility to ensure you have a valid visa or permit to re-enter Australia.
Certain countries require a Visa for entry prior to arrival and some you can get on arrival. Please ensure you are fully aware of the requirements before making a reservation as visas can take some time to obtain. We cannot be held responsible for any of your negligence.
Vaccinations are strongly recommended for certain destinations. Please contact your doctor who will advise you of these requirements. Please note that vaccinations may be recommended some period in advance of travelling.
We strongly recommend that all travelers take out travel insurance when making a booking. We recommend that insurance covers loss of deposit and other monies through cancellation, loss or damage to personal baggage and loss of money, medical expenses, additional expenses to cover hotel accommodation and repatriation costs to Australia should any services need to be extended or curtailed due to illness or other insurable risk. Please note that restrictions on the time to effect insurance apply to some services such as airfares. Please kindly buy travel insurance online through our website at time of booking your tickets or whenever you are ready but before your departure.
Airport / Departure Taxes
Certain airport / departure taxes are mandatory in various countries. There may also be an additional local tax charged at some airports. All taxes are subject to change without notice.
Credit Card Surcharge
Surcharge may apply for all credit card transactions.
Visa / Master – 2%
American Express – 4%
If for any reason any travel service provider is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted, your remedy lies against that provider, and not against K.O Travel. In the event that payment has been made to K.O Travel by credit card, you agree that you will not seek to charge back your payment to K.O Travel.
Frequent Flyer Travellers
Please kindly note if you are a frequent flyer member you should retain your air ticket and boarding pass as you could claim your points according to the airlines policies should it not appears in your frequent flyer account due to technical malfunctions. K.O Travel cannot be held responsible for incorrect transactions. Please ensure you present your membership number to the check in counters staff again. Please also note that some special airfares are non mileage / points accrual.
It is your responsibility to contact the airline prior to travel to ensure the scheduled departure time has not changed.
Please kindly note that we are unable to provide a refund to you until we receive the refund from the relevant supplier. Cancelled bookings will incur charges. These charges can be up to 100% of the cost of the booking, regardless of whether travel has commenced. Fees will also apply where a booking is changed or tickets are reissued.
Online bookings will incur a non-refundable booking fee of $30.00 in addition to any airlines and/or suppliers charges.
Changes/amendments or cancellations to Domestic flight bookings will incur a service fee of $25.00 per passenger per booking in addition to any airlines and/or suppliers charges.
Changes/amendments or cancellations to Trans-Tasman flight bookings will incur a service fee of $25.00 per passenger per booking in addition to any airlines and/or suppliers charges.
Changes/amendments or cancellations to International flight bookings will incur a service fee of $55.00 per passenger per booking in addition to any airlines and/or suppliers charges.
Please note most discounted airfares and hotels are non-refundable.
If you wish to make any changes or amend flights previously booked online and paid for, you must contact K.O Travel’s Online Customer Service Department on 03 9547 7566. Any charges for such change or amendment must be made via credit card and will attract the applicable service fee.

K.O Travel acts as a travel agent only. We sell various travel related products on behalf of numerous transports, hotels and other wholesale service providers, such as airlines, travel insurance and other tour operators. K.O Travel’s obligation is to make travel bookings on your behalf and to arrange relevant contracts between you and travel service providers. We have no responsibility for these services nor do we make or give any warranty or representation regarding their standard. All bookings are made subject to the terms and conditions and limitations of liability imposed by these service providers. Your legal right is against the specific provider and not K.O Travel. If for any reason, any travel service provider is unable to provide the services for which you have engaged your remedy lies against the provider and not with K.O Travel.
Responsibility and Liability
K.O Travel does not accept any liability of whatever nature, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, for the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of third party providers over whom we have no direct control. Under circumstances where liability cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the purchased travel arrangements. We do not accept any liability in contract, tort or otherwise for any injury, damage, loss (including consequential loss), delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or any other event which is beyond our control which is not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part.
